Earlier today, Conner said he wasn’t sure if he’d practice, but added that he believes he’ll be good to go for Sunday against the 49ers. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said he’s “not ready to say James Conner will be a full participant in this game,” and will let practice determine how much he plays, so it’d be good to see Pittsburgh’s starting running back on the practice field tomorrow and Friday. We’ll keep you updated on Conner’s status the next couple of days.

Damien Williams (knee) will not practice today.
It’s only Wednesday, and William’s injury isn’t thought to be anything serious, but it’s worth noting that LeSean McCoy (ankle) is expected to try to practice today while Williams is not. We’ll track Williams’ practice status the next couple of days leading up to Sunday’s game.

Rashard Higgins (ankle) is officially inactive for Monday Night Football.
It looked like Higgins would be able to go tonight against the Jets, so this is a surprise. Perhaps the Browns decided Higgins wasn’t 100% and should be held out until he gets closer to full strength. Taywan Taylor and Damion Ratley will likely be the two primary receivers filling in at receiver behind Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry.
9/16/19 - 06:48 PM ET
Rashard Higgins (knee) is officially listed as questionable for Week 3.
Higgins is likely a gametime call for Sunday night against the Rams, so he’s very difficult to wait on and put into Week 3 fantasy lineups. Ideally, you’ll have someone else for your FLEX spot, but Hilliard’s status will be known by around 7:30 PM ET on Sunday if you’re looking to play him.
9/20/19 - 01:42 PM ET
Josh Jacobs (hip) was officially limited in today’s practice.
Jacobs is thought to be fine for this Sunday against the Vikings, but we’ll track his status the next couple of days to ensure he’s good to go. A limited practice to start the week is a positive sign for his status.
9/18/19 - 04:56 PM ET
Demaryius Thomas (knee/hamstring) is not practicing today.
We’ll let you know if anything changes, but Thomas appears unlikely to play in Week 3 against the Patriots as he looks to get to full strength. Thomas would not be an advisable fantasy option even if he does suit up on Sunday.
9/18/19 - 12:03 PM ET
The Giants claimed Kaden Smith.
The 2019 sixth-round pick will look to carve out a spot with the Giants long-term after getting waived by the Niners. Smith is not on the fantasy radar at the moment.
