Join now >Devin Singletary (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 3.
This was where things were trending after Singletary was forced to sit out the first two days of practice. The Bills weren’t likely to play a rookie after little to no practice time during the week, and it’ll be Frank Gore and T.J. Yeldon handling most of the work in Buffalo’s backfield this Sunday. It’s been a small sample size, but the Bengals have given up the most fantasy points to opposing running backs through two games. Gore isn’t a bad FLEX option for Week 3.

The Browns have placed Drew Stanton (knee) on injured reserve.
Stanton was active for Week 1 and did not play, but he apparently was dealing with a knee injury entering the season, so Cleveland is placing him on IR to open up a roster spot. Barring injury, Garrett Gilbert will probably be the only quarterback behind Baker Mayfield on the active roster for the rest of the year.

The Chargers have signed Lance Kendricks.
The veteran tight end will help fill in while Hunter Henry is out with a leg injury. Kendricks could potentially work himself into a fantasy option if he quickly clicks with Philip Rivers, but he’s not a recommended fantasy pickup.

Marcus Mariota (quad) did not practice today.
The injury report is just a projection because the Titans didn’t actually practice today, but this is undoubtedly a concern with Tennessee playing on a short week. Mariota won’t be a highly recommended play if he does suit up against the Jaguars on Thursday night, but his status will continue to be updated in the coming days.

Bennie Fowler (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday.
While Sterling Shepard is set to return after missing one game, Cody Latimer will be out with a concussion, so the Giants could use Fowler on gameday. Fowler will likely be a gametime decision after he sees how the hamstring responds in pregame warmups.

Michael Gallup is having arthroscopic knee surgery, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport says Gallup is getting his meniscus trimmed and there is “no structural damage besides the meniscus tear.” The second-year receiver is expected to miss two-to-four weeks. As a member of a red-hot Dallas offense, Gallup is off to a great start to the season with 13 receptions for 226 yards through two games, so this injury is disappointing. But hopefully Gallup is back on the field soon, and he should be held in fantasy leagues he’s owned in. This is a slight knock to Dak Prescott’s fantasy value in the short term, but a locked-in Prescott should remain a QB1 option.

The Seahawks released Cardale Jones.
Jones was on the practice squad, but he’s being released to make room for another player. The former Ohio State quarterback should land with another practice squad soon.
