Join now >Devin Funchess (back) was officially limited in today’s practice.
Expect Funchess to be limited the next two days, but back issues can be tricky. He’s probably not a 100% lock to suit up in the season opener Sunday against the Chargers.
9/4/19 - 04:11 PM ET
Devin Funchess (collarbone) is being placed on injured reserve.
Head coach Frank Reich announced the news, but it’s not a season-ending injury, so Funchess will be able to return. This is obviously a tough blow for a guy that looked poised for a potential breakout in his first season with the Colts, but fortunately, the team has players ready to step up, including Deon Cain and second-round pick Parris Campbell.
9/9/19 - 04:07 PM ET
Trey Burton (groin) is officially listed as questionable for Week 1.
Burton was listed as a limited participant in practice all week, and he’s looking like a true gametime call for tomorrow night’s season opener against the Packers. Ideally, you’ll have a stronger TE option to place in your fantasy lineup even if Burton does play, but the versatile tight end’s status will be known by around 7:00 PM ET tomorrow.

UPDATE: Patrick Mahomes has returned for the Chiefs.
Mahomes went to get his ankle taped up while the officials sorted out offsetting penalties that included Jaguars linebacker Myles Jack being ejected, and he’s back in the game for a replay of third-and-goal. The reigning league MVP is probably less than 100%, but the adrenaline should help him get through this game without much limitation.
9/8/19 - 02:01 PM ET
The Lions signed Marvin Hall to their practice squad.
The former Falcon was last with the Bears, and he’ll look to work his way up to the 53-man roster in Detroit. Hall is off the fantasy radar at the moment.
9/4/19 - 12:49 PM ET
Patrick Mahomes limps off against the Jaguars.
Mahomes just took a sack on a third-and-goal and appeared to have his leg rolled up on a bit before limping pretty badly to the sideline. Mahomes is now being evaluated in the medical tent while veteran Matt Moore prepares to enter the game for Kansas City. Hopefully Mahomes is fine, but we’ll update you when more information becomes available.

Dolphins head coach Brian Flores says Kenyan Drake will get a heavy workload in Week 1.
Flores called Drake “physically and mentally ready,” adding that the team “look[s] forward to giving him a lot of touches this week.” Drake missed a couple of weeks with a foot injury during the preseason, but he was listed as the team’s starting running back on the Week 1 depth chart and sounds set for a heavy workload. Last season, many were hoping for Miami to give Drake a heavier workload, and that might actually happen to open the 2019 season as this new coaching staff looks to see what they’re working with on the roster. This could be the Dolphins attempting to showcase Drake for a potential trade as they look to acquire more draft assets, but he looks like the Miami running back to insert into fantasy lineups this week. Kalen Ballage should be held on benches, but he’s probably a risky Week 1 play against a tough Ravens defense.
