Hill was 0/1 as a passer with one carry for no yards and one reception for two yards and a touchdown in the Saints’ season-ending loss. The score was on a quick screen at the goal line where the athletic quarterback lined up as a traditional wide receiver. Hill was heavily-involved in New Orleans’ offense this season, and he might see his role get even bigger next season. Fantasy wise, he’s just a dynasty-league option heading into the offseason, though.

Taysom Hill gets two carries in Saints’ playoff win.
Hill gained eight yards on his two attempts against the Eagles, including a key conversion on a fake punt he took up the middle. The play sparked the Saints, who weren’t getting much going and were down 14-0 in their eventual 20-14 victory to advance to the NFC Championship Game. Hill also narrowly missed on catching a deep touchdown, as he used his great speed to get behind the defense but Drew Brees underthrew him. Right after the just-miss, Hill launched a perfect deep ball to Alvin Kamara for what looked like a touchdown, but it was called back because of a holding call. Hill will look to make a big impact as a Swiss army knife in the NFC title game against the Rams next weekend.

Golden Tate catches two passes in Eagles’ playoff loss.
Tate gained 18 yards on his two receptions in the Divisional Round loss to the Saints. He was notably targeted on a deep ball where he probably should’ve come back to it to either a) undercut the defender and catch it, or b) draw a pass interference penalty. Tate didn’t put up huge numbers after his arrival to Philadelphia via a trade-deadline deal, but he came up huge last weekend with the game-winning score versus Chicago in the Wild Card Round. Considering the Eagles gave up a third-round pick for Tate, they’ll probably look to sign him to an extension before he hits free agency this offseason. If not, he’ll draw plenty of interest on the open market.

Golden Tate catches game-winning touchdown in Eagles’ playoff win.
Tate caught a quick out route with 56 seconds remaining to put the Eagles up by one point over the Bears in their Wild Card Round victory. Earlier in the game, Tate also had a big 28-yard reception on a shot down the deep middle part of the field where he took a big hit and held on. The veteran receiver will look to make clutch plays again in the Divisional Round next Sunday against the Saints.

Josh Hill (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of the NFC Championship.
Hill was injured early in the game, and he’s been ruled out as we head to halftime. Before leaving, Hill had one reception for 24 yards. Hopefully he’s feeling better soon, and we should see him in the Super Bowl in a couple weeks if the Saints advance.

Carson Wentz is expected to be ready for offseason training, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
This was expected, but it’s worth noting that Schefter says Wentz has been participating in a strengthening program, which is probably a good sign. It would be concerning if Wentz is not ready for the start of offseason training in April, considering it’d be four months since his last game on December 9. Another year removed from his serious knee injury suffered in December 2017, Wentz should really benefit from a full 2019 offseason. While it’s difficult to argue against Nick Foles as the team’s starter moving forward, the Eagles are fully expected to stick with Wentz as their franchise quarterback next season and beyond.

Zach Ertz caught five passes for 50 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Saints.
Ertz tied Alshon Jeffery for the team lead in targets (eight), but Philly’s offense didn’t get much going outside of 14 first-quarter points in an eventual 20-14 defeat. The season obviously didn’t end with another championship, but Ertz set the single-season record for receptions by a tight end (116), and he’s clearly established himself as a premier tight end for both real-life and fantasy purposes. The 28-year-old will be a no-doubt top-three selection at the position over the summer.
