Smith caught one pass for 15 yards along with one carry for five yards in the Divisional Round victory. The reception was a nice clutch catch on a pass that was slightly behind him for a first-down. The rookie receiver will look to do some damage against the Rams in the NFC title game in one week.

The Eagles signed running back Donnel Pumphrey to a reserve/future contract.
Pumphrey was a 2017 fourth-round pick of the Eagles that spent time with the Lions this year after Philadelphia cut him. Pumphrey will look to carve out a role in the Eagles backfield moving forward, but he has an uphill battle. His draft status as a fourth-rounder could give him a boost, though.

Nelson Agholor catches three passes in playoff win over the Bears.
Agholor gained 32 yards on his three receptions in the Eagles’ playoff victory. He had a key first-down reception late in the game, but he couldn’t come up with a potential game-winning touchdown on a pass in tight coverage that he probably should’ve caught with under two minutes remaining; however, the Eagles scored a couple of plays later as Nick Foles and Golden Tate picked up Agholor (and Alshon Jeffery, who should’ve had a touchdown himself after Agholor’s near-score). Also, Agholor had a nifty reception late in the game when he juked a defender for a positive gain instead of getting stopped at the line of scrimmage. The Eagles will be looking to Agholor to make clutch plays as their postseason run continues one week from tonight against the Saints in the Divisional Round.

Larry Fitzgerald is returning for a 16th NFL season, the Cardinals announced.
Cardinals owner Michael Bidwell released a statement reading: “No player has meant more to this franchise or this community than Larry Fitzgerald. In my discussions with him, it was clear that he is as driven and passionate as ever. We are thrilled he’ll be back for 2019.” Fitz has taken into February to make his decision about playing the past two years, so a decision this early indicates that he’s excited about new head coach Kliff Kingsbury and the future of the team. Fitz is coming off the lowest yardage total of his career (734 yards), but he played for the NFL’s worst offense with a rookie quarterback that struggled behind an offensive line that did not play well—and he made some spectacular catches as usual, showing that he still has it at 35 years old. Fitz enters the 2019 season second all-time in receiving yards (16,279) behind only Jerry Rice (22,895), and he’ll turn 36 at the end of August. The classy future Hall of Famer returning is obviously great for both the Cardinals and the NFL.

Jared Goff, Rams beat the Saints in overtime, 26-23, to advance to Super Bowl LIII.
Goff was 25/40 for 297 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, also adding three carries for ten yards. The youngest quarterback to ever win an NFC Championship Game, Goff started the day with an interception on a Todd Gurley drop, but he was excellent the rest of the way, including a seven-of-seven stretch for 120 yards in the second half to help Los Angeles overcome a 20-10 deficit. After a Drew Brees interception in OT, the Rams were able to get in field goal range thanks to a couple under-pressure completions by Goff, and Greg Zuerlein sent the team to Atlanta on a 57-yard kick. LA will face the winner of Patriots-Chiefs.

Jordan Matthews scores in playoff loss to the Saints.
Matthews caught a 37-yard touchdown on the team’s opening possession, but that was his only reception of the game. Turning 27 in July, Matthews will look to either return to Philadelphia or find a new home this offseason as he finally looks healthy.

Allen Robinson goes off in Wild Card Round loss.
Robinson caught ten passes for 143 yards and a touchdown in a 16-15 defeat against the Eagles. The score came from 22 yards away on an easy double-move to put Chicago up in the fourth quarter, but they couldn’t hold onto the lead, and a missed last-second field goal—which was set up by two Robinson grabs—ended the Bears’ season. Still, it was very encouraging to see Robinson have arguably his best game of the year, and the future should be bright between he and Mitchell Trubisky. We think the Penn State product will provide great value in fantasy drafts over the summer if he’s viewed as a decent middle-round target.
