Join now >Dalvin Cook (hamstring) was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice.
Cook is expected to be held out this week before Minnesota’s Week 10 bye, but perhaps he will be able to beat that timetable if he feels good in practice over the next couple days. For now, fantasy owners should count on being without the second-year back, and if he does play, Cook wouldn’t be much more than a risky FLEX option.

Vance McDonald catches all three targets in Week 8.
McDonald gained 47 yards on his three receptions against the Browns. The big tight end faces the Ravens next week, a team he had five receptions for 62 yards against in Week 4.

Kenny Stills (groin) did not practice today.
It’s only Wednesday, but it sounds like the Dolphins might not want to risk Stills returning early to re-aggravate his injury. Consider him 50/50 for Sunday, and we’ll track his status the next two days.

Mark Walton handles three carries in win over the Bucs.
Walton rushed twice for seven yards and caught a ten-yard pass. The rookie is probably going to revert back to No. 3 duties if Giovani Bernard (knee) can get cleared following the Week 9 bye, so Walton doesn’t need to be owned in fantasy leagues.

Ryan Tannehill (shoulder) is officially out for Week 9.
This isn’t a great sign so early in the week, and it indicates Tannehill isn’t very close to making a return to the field. It’ll be Brock Osweiler under-center for his fourth straight start, and Tannehill remains week-to-week. Hopefully Tannehill is able to get back on the field this season, but it’s no guarantee to happen.

Antonio Brown scores twice in Steelers’ win.
Brown caught a 43-yard touchdown after getting wide open deep down the field after Ben Roethlisberger did a great job of buying time in the pocket, and he also caught a quick screen pass designed for him at the goal line. Overall, Brown caught six passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 8 victory over Cleveland. Brown will look to keep it going against a Ravens team he had a 5/62/1 line against in Week 4, but Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith (suspension) wasn’t in the lineup for that game.

The Texans are releasing Bruce Ellington from injured reserve.
Ellington was placed on IR with a hamstring injury in late September, but he’s now healthy and ready to contribute to a team. The Titans, a division rival of the Texans, are a team that stands out as a potential landing spot for Ellington. He’s not a recommended fantasy pickup at least until he signs with a team.
