Join now >Odell Beckham Jr. leads the Giants in Week 8 receiving.
Beckham had his second straight game with over 130 receiving yards, and his third in his last four games, but it was in another Giants loss. Beckham had eight receptions for 136 yards against the Redskins, making a couple more highlight-reel catches in the game. Through eight games, Beckham is on pace for 122 receptions, 1,570 yards, and four touchdowns. The receptions and yardage would set new career-highs for the fifth-year receiver, and look for him to increase that scoring total in the second half.

Rams head coach Sean McVay believes there’s a “very good chance” Cooper Kupp (knee) plays this week.
The fact that the Rams didn’t rule Kupp out (he was listed as doubtful) for yesterday’s game against the Packers was probably a good sign, and the team probably really hopes he’s ready to go for this Sunday’s huge matchup against the Saints. We’ll have to track Kupp’s status throughout the week, but consider him questionable for now. Kupp’s return would be a boost for Jared Goff and the entire offense.

Wayne Gallman gets one carry in Week 8.
Gallman’s lone attempt against the Redskins went for -1 yards. The second-year running back from Clemson isn’t a fantasy option as long as Saquon Barkley is on the field.

Saquon Barkley gets 22 touches against the Redskins.
Washington again did an excellent job of shutting down a top-notch running back on the ground, limiting Barkley to 38 yards on 13 carries. Barkley made it a productive day with nine receptions (on ten targets) for 73 yards, though. Through half of his rookie season, the No. 2 pick in the draft is on pace for 222 carries, 1,038 rushing yards, ten rushing touchdowns, 116 receptions, 994 receiving yards, and four receiving touchdowns. He has a legit chance to become the first player since Marshall Faulk in 1999 to have 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving in a season, which is pretty remarkable for a rookie. Barkley has a bye this week, so be sure to get him out of your Week 9 lineup.

Josh Gordon (hamstring) is officially active for Week 8.
Gordon is set to be disciplined one quarter because of tardiness, but he’s officially active against the Bills despite being listed as questionable with his hamstring injury. Expect Gordon to play the final three quarters tonight.

Eli Manning throws two interceptions as the Giants fall to 1-7.
Manning was 30/47 for 316 yards, one touchdown, and two interception in the Week 8 loss to the Redskins. The score was a red-zone pass to Evan Engram. Washington put a lot of pressure on Manning throughout the game, sacking him seven times, which has been a common theme for a while now. Through eight games, Manning is on pace for 4,754 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. He’ll take the bye to rest up before facing the Niners on Monday night in a couple of weeks.
10/29/18 - 10:14 AM ET
Rob Gronkowski (ankle/back) is officially active for the Patriots.
Gronkowski was listed as questionable entering tonight, but he was able to practice on a limited basis in each of the team’s three practices during the week, so this was fully expected. The All-Pro tight end is an elite TE1 in a matchup against his hometown Bills.
