Rudolph saw a healthy seven targets, but he was out of bounds on a would-be touchdown, and Kirk Cousins overshot him on another red-zone target. The 28-year-old is on pace for a respectable 64/642/4 line, but he needs to be a bigger factor in scoring territory to reach his fantasy potential in 2018. The Vikings stay home to face the Lions next Sunday.

Curtis Samuel caught three passes for 28 yards in Sunday’s win over the Ravens.
Samuel looked elusive as he hauled in all three of his targets, and Carolina would do well to keep him involved as they look to keep pace with New Orleans in the NFC South. The Ohio State product is just worth a look in deeper leagues heading into a matchup with the Bucs.

Roc Thomas leaves Week 8 game with a hamstring injury.
Before leaving, Thomas had -1 yards on one carry and 15 yards on one reception. Hopefully the injury to the undrafted rookie isn’t too serious.

Greg Olsen scores in win over the Ravens.
Olsen caught four passes for 56 yards, including an 11-yard touchdown on a connected slant in the first half. The 33-year-old hasn’t been a big-time contributor since returning from his foot injury, but he’s scored in each of the past two games, and the schedule looks promising the rest of the way. Olsen should be considered a solid TE1 for Week 9 against Tampa Bay.

C.J. Ham gets two carries in Week 8.
It was surprising to see Ham line up in a single set back formation, and he gained one yard on his two attempts. Minnesota’s fullback is obviously a better real-life contributor than fantasy asset.

C.J. Anderson rushed five times for 20 yards in Sunday’s win over the Ravens.
Anderson hadn’t received a carry since the first week of October, but the Panthers got him on the field with Christian McCaffrey, and the veteran looked good with a few runs up the middle. Still, Anderson probably needs a score to have fantasy relevance in any given week, so he can stay on the waiver wire.

Stefon Diggs has efficient night, but Vikings lose playoff rematch to the Saints.
Diggs caught ten passes (on 11 targets) for 119 yards and one touchdown, which came from one yard away on the team’s opening drive. It was a promising rebound for Diggs after a couple quiet weeks, and he’s now back on track with a season-long pace of 116/1,174/8 pace through eight games. We’ll see if he can start producing more big plays next Sunday against the Lions, but Diggs is an excellent WR1/WR2 option.
