Harris gained 20 yards on his two receptions in the Week 8 win. Even if Jamison Crowder (ankle) remains out, Harris isn’t a highly-recommended fantasy option.

Raheem Mostert is dealing with an ankle injury.
This could explain why Mostert had just two carries in yesterday’s game after playing so well in the previous two weeks. If the Niners had practice today, Mostert would not have practiced. With a quick turnaround for a Thursday night game to kickoff Week 9, Mostert is no lock to suit up. We’ll track his status the next couple of days.

Vernon Davis catches one pass against the Giants.
Davis gained 21 yards on his lone reception in the Redskins’ Week 8 victory. The veteran tight end is an excellent option for the Redskins in real life, but he’s not putting up consistent enough numbers to be a reliable option in fantasy lineups.

Ronald Jones II is expected to miss a few weeks with a hamstring strain, according to Ian Rapoport.
Jones was injured in Sunday’s loss to the Bengals, and it sounds like it will lead to a multi-week absence. The second-round pick doesn’t need to be owned in redraft formats after this news, but perhaps he will be featured down the stretch if he can get healthy. For now, Peyton Barber—who is coming off his best game of the year—is a stronger FLEX than he was just a few days ago.

Jordan Reed gets 12 targets in Week 8.
Reed’s 12 targets were by far a team-high for the Redskins in their win against the Giants, but Reed caught seven passes for just 38 yards in the game. Reed has been under 45 yards in each of the last four games, and he doesn’t have a touchdown since Week 1. Still, he’s in the TE1 mix for Week 9 against the Falcons.

The Patriots are disciplining Josh Gordon for tardiness, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport says the Patriots will keep Gordon off the field for “several series — about a quarter” of tonight’s game against the Bills. This is simply a very bad sign for a player that’s dealt with plenty of off-field issues throughout his career, and it might show that he’ll unfortunately never really get it. New England has given the former All-Pro an extraordinary opportunity with the franchise, so you’d think Gordon would be a model citizen and avoid any mistakes like this. NFL Network’s Mike Giardi reports the Patriots are looking at receivers ahead of tomorrow’s trade deadline, which might indicate they aren’t necessarily happy with Gordon considering they already have a crowded receiving corps. Downgrade Gordon a bit in Week 8 fantasy lineups, as he has a zero-point floor if he doesn’t get into the swing of things and is shut down by Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White when he enters the game tonight.

Josh Doctson leads the Redskins in Week 8 receiving.
Doctson caught all five of his targets against the Giants, gaining 49 yards on his five receptions. The yardage is a season-high for the 2016 first-rounder, and he’ll look to continue becoming a bigger part of the offense moving forward.
