It was a high-volume, low efficiency outing we’ve seen from Landry a lot throughout his career, as he caught eight passes (on 12 targets) for 39 yards against the Steelers. Through half the season, Landry is on pace for 98 receptions, 1,056 yards, and four touchdowns. Landry will look to start a bigger second half next week agains the Chiefs.

Kenjon Barner rushed twice for four yards in Monday night’s win over the Bills.
Barner saw just a handful of snaps, as Cordarrelle Patterson operated as the main compliment to receiving back James White. The Oregon product won’t be a reliable fantasy option in Week 9 against the Packers.

Jacquizz Rodgers handles five touches in Week 8 loss.
Rodgers rushed once for four yards, also adding four receptions for 25 yards. The veteran could be in for an extended role if Ronald Jones (hamstring) misses time, but he won’t be a recommended fantasy option behind Peyton Barber.

Ray-Ray McCloud catches one pass in Week 8.
McCloud’s lone reception in the Bills’ loss to the Patriot went for 16 yards. The rookie from Clemson remains just a dynasty-league hold for now.

DeSean Jackson catches 60-yard touchdown in loss to the Bengals.
Jackson was able to easily run past cornerback William Jackson in the first half for six, and he finished with three receptions (on eight targets) for 68 yards and the score, also adding a four-yard carry. The veteran deep threat reportedly requested a trade ahead of Tuesday’s deadline, so that’s obviously something to keep an eye on for fantasy owners. If he remains in Tampa Bay, going with Ryan Fitzpatrick over Jameis Winston—which would seem to be the wise move for Dirk Koetter—should be a slight boost to Jackson. Should he remain a Buccaneer, consider him a high-upside FLEX next week against the Panthers.

Julian Edelman posts first 100-yard game of the season as New England tops Buffalo, 25-6.
Edelman caught nine-of-ten targets for 104 yards, also adding two carries for 13 yards. Of course, he missed the first four games of the season with a suspension, but based off his four appearances, Edelman is on track for a 16-game pace of 100/1,004/8, as he’s been as solid as ever for the Patriots offense. The 32-year-old could do battle with standout rookie corner Jaire Alexander next Sunday night, but he remains a WR2 option in all formats.

Duke Johnson Jr. gets four touches against the Steelers.
Johnson carried twice for zero yards and caught two passes for 16 yards in the Browns’ Week 8 loss. Through eight games, Johnson is on pace for 44 carries, 214 rushing yards, 40 receptions, and 406 receiving yards. He’s difficult to trust in fantasy lineups despite there seemingly always being talk of the Browns wanting to get him more involved on offense.
