Garcon gained five yards on his lone reception in the Week 7 loss. The veteran receiver isn’t a recommended fantasy option, especially considering he’s at less than 100% while dealing with injuries.

Willie Snead contained in matchup against his former team.
Snead caught three-of-seven targets for 23 yards, also adding a 13-yard rush. The former Saints standout had quietly put together a nice stretch of games to start the season, but a shaky New Orleans secondary didn’t let Snead beat them. Consider the 26-year-old a decent FLEX option for Week 8 against the Panthers.

Trent Taylor catches one pass in Week 7.
Taylor, who was questionable coming into the game with a back injury, gained six yards on his lone reception against the Rams. The second-year receiver isn’t a reliable fantasy option right now.

Marquise Goodwin catches two passes in Week 7.
Goodwin gained 24 yards on his two receptions against the Rams. The former track star appeared to suffer another leg injury in the game, but he returned and appears to be fine. Goodwin next faces a Cardinals team that’s had major busts in coverage this season, so he has some big-play upside as a FLEX option—albeit with a low floor.

George Kittle scores in Niners’ loss.
Kittle was targeted a team-high eight times against the Rams, catching five passes for 98 yards and a touchdown. The score came at the end of the first half on a play where Kittle caught the ball right at the front of the goal line; it was initially ruled short of the goal line, but it was overturned after a review deemed he was indeed in the end zone with possession of the football. He also had a 35-yard gain in the game. The second-year tight end continues to be a beast this season, and he’s an excellent TE1 option in Week 8 against a Cardinals team he had a 5/83 line against earlier this season.

Alex Collins handles 14 touches in Week 7 loss.
Collins rushed 11 times for 38 yards, also adding three receptions for ten yards. Baltimore’s starter didn’t have much room to operate against the league’s top run defense, but he remained clearly ahead of Javorius Allen (three carries) in the backfield. Consider Collins a low-end RB2/FLEX option for next week’s matchup against a Carolina defense that hasn’t been as stout as usual against the run.

Kyle Juszczyk gets three touches against the Rams.
Juszczyk carried one time for -5 yards and caught two passes for 18 yards in the Week 7 loss. The Niners’ fullback has some FLEX appeal in PPR leagues, but he’s a risky play in fantasy lineups.
