George Kittle | 49ers TE

George Kittle caught two passes for 22 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Eagles.

Kittle had a 22-yard reception and a zero-yard reception. On pace for a 48/500/2 line through eight games, the rookie can remain on the waiver wire.

Jerick McKinnon | Free Agent RB

Jerick McKinnon totals 122 yards in Week 8 win.

Latavius Murray started the game and received more carries against the Browns, but McKinnon did more damage with his carries, gaining 50 yards on 14 carries with a touchdown while also adding six receptions (on ten targets) for 72 yards. Overall, McKinnon again ran hard and showed very good vision and balance, picking up positive yardage while taking advantage of openings created by his offensive line. The touchdown was on a jet sweep, and McKinnon added a two-point conversion right after. Minnesota has a bye next week, but McKinnon will be a good option when they return in Week 10.

Wendell Smallwood | Steelers RB

Wendell Smallwood (knee) is officially active against the Redskins.

He practiced all week and is ready to go after missing a couple games. This will likely be a running back by committee approach with LeGarrette Blount leading in carries, but Smallwood could get a good amount of work in the big NFC East game—including on third downs.

10/23/17 - 07:07 PM ET

Carson Palmer | Retired QB

Carson Palmer (left arm) has been ruled out for the rest of Week 7.

Palmer might be dealing with a broken arm of some type, which would obviously be a terrible blow to the Cardinals. The veteran signal-caller was 10/18 for 122 yards and an interception before leaving. Hopefully Palmer ends up being OK very soon.

10/22/17 - 03:09 PM ET

Kenjon Barner | Buccaneers RB

Kenjon Barner sees two touches in Week 8 win.

Barner caught two passes for 11 yards, but did not receive a carry. The Eagles’ punt returner is a good real-life player, but not a fantasy option with a limited offensive role.

10/30/17 - 01:09 PM ET

Tyrell Williams | Free Agent WR

Tyrell Williams catches one pass in Week 8.

Williams was targeted six times against the Patriots, but he was only able to haul in the one pass for 24 yards—though it was a very nice catch on a leaping grab by the end zone to set the Chargers up at the one-yard line. Williams has only one reception in three of the last four games, and he’s on pace for 44 receptions for 644 yards, and two touchdowns this season. He’s a key player in real life for his team, but Williams isn’t a reliable fantasy option so far this year.

10/30/17 - 12:08 PM ET

Devonta Freeman | Free Agent RB

Devonta Freeman turns 15 touches into 90 yards as Falcons fall to Patriots.

Freeman rushed 12 times for 72 yards and caught three passes for 18 yards. Atlanta needed to commit more to the running game with Freeman producing, but they didn’t, and could only score seven points against the NFL’s 30th ranked defense. There’s no way things will continue to be this bad for the Falcons, but Freeman needs to be slightly downgraded until they show something. Perhaps that will happen against the Jets in Week 8.
