Join now >Parris Campbell is in concussion protocol.
Campbell was in a minor car accident, and he now must pass concussion protocol before he can return to the field. Hopefully everyone is OK after the accident and Campbell is feeling better soon.

The Patriots have removed Sony Michel (foot) from the PUP list.
Michel returned to practice today after missing all of camp up to this point following offseason foot surgery. With 2019 third-round pick Damien Harris reportedly shining for the Pats this summer, it creates an interesting situation to have Michel back in the mix and presumably on track for Week 1. Given the way the Patriots handle things, we simply might not get much insight on the team’s backfield plans before the start of the season.

The Eagles placed Josh Perkins on injured reserve.
Perkins is dealing with an upper body injury, but it’s unclear what exactly the injury is. This is a tough break for Perkins, and hopefully he gets back to 100% soon; but his season is probably over unless he’s released with an injury settlement and becomes free to sign elsewhere. Perkins’ injury explains Philadelphia’s signing of tight end Tyrone Swoopes.

The Panthers are signing Cam Phillips, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Phillips was teammates with quarterback P.J. Walker in the XFL and arguably the best wide receiver in the league. Signing this late in camp may hurt his roster chances, but Phillips can bring some size to the receiving corps behind D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, and Curtis Samuel. He isn’t currently a recommended fantasy option.

The Bengals waived Damion Willis.
Willis worked his way as an undrafted rookie and entered last season as a starter for the Bengals, but the team is moving in another direction. It’s tough luck for Willis, as Cincinnati has one of the deepest receiving corps in the league, but the good news is that he gets an early jump on potentially finding a new landing spot this summer. If he doesn’t make a final roster elsewhere, Willis could land back on the Bengals practice squad this year.

A.J. Green (hamstring) is expected to practice tomorrow.
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor says Green will return to practice this week, which is a good sign after he’s missed some time with a minor hamstring issue. It’s difficult not to be concerned about the veteran receiver’s durability at this point, but hopefully Green can remain healthy over the next couple of weeks ahead of the regular season and many fantasy drafts around Labor Day. Keep in mind, Cincinnati is paying Green a lot of money on the franchise tag, and they expect great production.

Mike Williams (shoulder) is expected to miss two to four weeks.
Head coach Anthony Lynn said he’s not sure if Williams will be ready for Week 1, so the big-bodied wideout should be downgraded some for those drafting over the next couple of weeks. The Chargers are very thin at receiver behind Keenan Allen and Williams, but rookie Joe Reed is a player to keep in mind in deeper leagues.
