Join now >Nick Chubb has cleared concussion protocol.
Thankfully, Chubb just spent a few days in the protocol, and it’s great to hear that he’s feeling better and can resume practicing with his teammates. The presence of Kareem Hunt is a slight concern, but Chubb is an exceptional running back that should be handed the ball a ton this season. He’s a strong selection in the first or second round of 2020 fantasy drafts.

Antoine Wesley is undergoing season-ending shoulder surgery, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
After going undrafted out of Texas Tech last season, Wesley was able to land on Baltimore’s practice squad and remained with the team all year. He had reportedly been having a good camp, so this is a tough break for the second-year player. Wesley should be 100% by next summer as he tries to win a roster spot for the Ravens in 2021.

The Jets activated Ryan Griffin (ankle) off the PUP list.
Griffin is on the active roster and practicing with the team today. After a strong stretch before his ankle injury last season, the veteran tight end will fill the No. 2 tight end role complementing Chris Herndon this year.

Washington has waived/injured Thaddeus Moss.
Moss had a great opportunity to earn a role after signing as an undrafted free agent, but now Washington will go with Logan Thomas, Jeremy Sprinkle, and others at tight end. We’ll see if Moss can get healthy and make a roster elsewhere.

The Colts claimed Andrew Vollert.
Vollert starred on the first episode of ‘Hard Knocks: Los Angeles’ when he showed major fire and displeasure after the Chargers cut him. He then landed with the Panthers and is now with the Colts after Indy claimed him on waivers. The Colts have a crowded tight end group, but Vollert will look to stick around to the end of the summer. A practice squad spot might be his path.

Dallas Goedert suffered a hairline fracture in his thumb, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Pelissero says that it’s not major, and Goedert might be able to practice as soon as next week. Assuming his status for the opener isn’t in doubt, Goedert can still be drafted as a touchdown-dependent TE2.
