Join now >The Dolphins waived Jake Rudock.
With Tua Tagovailoa healthy ahead of camp, Miami isn’t keeping Rudock on the roster right now. Perhaps the Michigan product will land back with the Dolphins in the future, but for now the team is set at the position.

Dalvin Cook begins holdout.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Cook “no longer will participate in any team-related activities until and unless he receives a ‘reasonable’ deal.” Schefter adds that a source tells ESPN that Cook will not show up “without a reasonable extension… for camp or beyond.” It sounds like the star Vikings running back is going to dig in as he looks for a long-term contract, and the mention of the word “reasonable” could be an indication that Cook is not happy with an offer Minnesota has made. Until a new contract is agreed upon, this will obviously be one of the biggest fantasy football storylines to track this summer. Cook is entering the last season of his four-year rookie contract.

The Dolphins released Ricardo Louis.
Miami is cutting the roster down ahead of camp starting next week. Louis will look to land with another squad this summer.

The Cardinals signed Dylan Cantrell.
Cantrell is a big receiver that played for Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury at Texas Tech. Arizona is extremely deep among its pass catchers, but Cantrell will look to carve out a roster spot this summer.

The Saints re-signed Austin Carr.
Carr has been with New Orleans since 2017, so he remains in a spot where he’s familiar and comfortable with the offense. He’ll look to carve out a role behind Michael Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders this season, but he’s off the fantasy radar for now.

Dalvin Cook is set to report for the start of training camp.
Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer is having a press conference about his recent contract extension, and he was asked if his star running back is expected to be at the start of training camp next week. Zimmer says that Cook told him that he would be there. This is obviously great news for both the Vikings and fantasy owners, but it’s not a big surprise; players don’t have much leverage with holdouts after the new CBA was passed earlier this year. While Cook is looking for a long-term contract extension, it’ll be good that he gets into camp with his teammates—the injury history could be a concern, but we’d think there’s a decent chance Minnesota rewards him with an extension ahead of the season. You can safely lock Cook in as a first-round pick in fantasy drafts later this summer.

The Chiefs re-signed Matt Moore.
Moore filled in for franchise quarterback Patrick Mahomes last season after Mahomes injured his knee in a Thursday night game against the Broncos, and Kansas City is brining him back this season to a quarterback room with a couple of veteran behind Mahomes, which could be critical in a season that could have players missing time due to COVID-19.
