We may not know Hockenson’s status until Monday night (which puts fantasy owners in a difficult position), but limited participation is obviously a good sign for his chances of suiting up. Unless you were able to get your hands on Gerald Everett, fantasy owners may want to take the risk and roll with the rookie at a very shallow week for tight ends.

DeSean Jackson (abdomen) has been officially ruled out for Week 7.
This was expected, as Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said they are not going to rush Jackson back into action. The veteran receiver is going to miss his fifth consecutive game, and it’s basically been six straight missed games when you consider he barely played against the Falcons in Week 2. Jackson is said to be making progress in his conditioning but he remains week-to-week, and we’ll update you when he’s able to hit the practice field.

The Eagles are signing De’Angelo Henderson to the practice squad, according to Mike Garafolo.
Philly currently has Jordan Howard, Miles Sanders, and Boston Scott as the healthy backs on the roster, but Henderson could potentially get a chance to shine in practice and eventually get called up. Still, he’d be unlikely to see more than a handful of snaps per game if eventually added to the active roster, and Howard/Sanders will continue dominating touches if both guys remain healthy.

Davante Adams (ankle) will not play in Week 7.
The official injury report is set to be released in about an hour according to Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, but LaFleur says that Adams is going to be out. This is Adams’ third consecutive missed game after suffering the toe injury against the Eagles, but the good news is the star receiver says he feels “a million times” better. Hopefully a return is close, but still consider Adams week-to-week for now.

The Redskins placed Jehu Chesson on the reserve/injured list.
Chesson is on the team’s practice squad, but he was apparently injured and will now be unable to practice. It’s possible Chesson is released to sign with another franchise at some point this season, but the former fourth-round pick is not on the fantasy radar at the moment.

A.J. Green (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 7.
While Green appears to be trending in the right direction and could be close to a return, it was looking like this was going to be the case after he missed practice yesterday. Be sure to hold Green on your fantasy roster if you kept him for this long, but he’s not going to hit the field until he’s 100%. He should have a shot to play in Week 8 against the Rams, and we’ll track his status next week.

The Patriots are re-signing Benjamin Watson, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.
Watson was just released a week ago after the Patriots chose not to activate him after his four-game suspension, but the veteran tight end is back in the mix and will continue his playing career as he planned when he signed with New England in the offseason. Watson is not a highly recommended fantasy pickup, but perhaps he can help make the tight end position more of a receiving threat for the Patriots offense.
