Wayne Gallman (concussion) has been ruled out for the rest of today’s game.

Gallman has a concussion and is now in concussion protocol. The Giants have a quick turnaround playing this Thursday night at New England, so Gallman might have a difficult time getting cleared for Week 6. Before leaving, Gallman had two carries for 14 yards. Jonathan Hilliman and Elijhaa Penny will handle most of the backfield work for the rest of today with Gallman out. This injury could accelerate Saquon Barkley’s return to the field, as the star running back already appears to be very close to a return.

Sammy Watkins (hamstring) is officially inactive for Week 6.

Watkins was listed as doubtful entering today, so this was fully expected. After Watkins was out of the game very early last Sunday night, this is essentially Watkins’ second consecutive missed game. Hopefully he’s ready to go for Week 7, but it might be difficult on a short week (the Chiefs next play this Thursday night against the Broncos).

Todd Gurley (quadricep) has been ruled out for Week 6.

Gurley was listed as doubtful for tomorrow’s game against the 49ers, and the Rams are going ahead and ruling the star running back out. Gurley should be considered week-to-week, but it’s a mystery to this point how much time he’ll miss exactly. Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson will lead the Los Angeles backfield tomorrow and potentially beyond.

Matt LaCosse (knee) is officially questionable to return for the Patriots.

LaCosse was reportedly jogging a bit on the sidelines apparently trying to stretch out, but we’ll see if he’s able to return to tonight’s game against the Giants.

Wayne Gallman is being evaluated for a concussion.

Gallman jogged off the field after taking a hit against the Vikings, and the official word is that he’s being evaluated for a concussion. If Gallman does have a concussion, he’ll be out for the rest of today’s game.

Julian Edelman (chest) is officially active for Thursday night.

Edelman was listed as questionable entering tonight, but this was obviously fully expected. You can lock Edelman into fantasy lineups as an excellent option as Tom Brady’s most trusted target.

Kyle Juszczyk leaves game with apparent knee injury.

Juszczyk was delivering a block on a nice run by Matt Breida, and he took a shot to the knee and immediately held the knee. After limping over to the sideline, Juszczyk is now being carted to the locker room. Unfortunately, it looks like a serious injury for the Niners’ fullback, and it’ll be a huge blow to the team if he does indeed miss an extended period of time like it appears will be the case. Juszczyk had two receptions for 20 yards before leaving tonight’s game, and he also helped pave running lanes for Matt Breida and Tevin Coleman as they gash Cleveland’s defense.
