Join now >Julian Edelman (chest) is officially active for Week 5.
This was fully expected, though Edelman is likely at less than 100% as he still deals with his chest injury. Still, Edelman is a WR2 option against the Redskins today.

James O’Shaughnessy suffered a torn ACL, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The good news is Rapoport says this was a “clean tear” for O’Shaughnessy, but it’s obviously still a tough blow for for the 27 year old tight end. O’Shaughnessy’s season ends with 14 receptions for 153 yards and two touchdowns, as he’d worked himself into a solid contributor for Jacksonville. We wish O’Shaughnessy the best of luck on his recovery from this injury.

Devin Singletary (hamstring) is officially inactive for Week 5.
Singletary logged limited practices all week, but the Bills are not going to rush their rookie running back at less than 100%. Buffalo has a Week 6 bye, so we would think Singletary will be ready to go returning from the bye week.

Davante Adams (toe) has been ruled out for Week 6.
This isn’t a surprise, as the Packers are not rushing Adams back from a turf toe injury that could worsen and force him to potentially miss the rest of the season. Consider Adams week-to-week for now. Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison will be Green Bay’s top two receivers again this Monday night against the Lions.

Vance McDonald (shoulder) is officially active for Week 5.
McDonald was able to practice fully on Friday, so it looked like he had a pretty good shot at playing today against the Ravens. McDonald is a TE1 for a matchup against a team that just allowed Browns tight end Ricky Seals-Jones to get wide open a couple of times last week.

Phillip Dorsett’s hamstring injury is considered “minor”, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
This is great to hear, but Dorsett doesn’t seem likely to play on a short week when the Patriots host the Giants to kickoff Week 6 this Thursday night. Undrafted rookie receiver Jakobi Meyers will get more playing time during Dorsett’s absence.

JuJu Smith-Schuster (toe) is officially active for the Steelers.
There was real concern about Smith-Schuster’s status, but he’ll be out there for a big Week 5 divisional matchup against the Ravens. There’s the risk that JuJu will be used as more of a decoy at less than full strength, so he’s more of a FLEX option this week. But keep in mind Steelers offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner and quarterback Mason Rudolph appeared to tell Smith-Schuster they need to get him the ball more at the conclusion of last Monday’s game when he was held to 15 yards.
