Join now >Rex Burkhead (foot) is officially inactive for Week 6.
This was reportedly going to be the case, and now it’s official. Burkhead isn’t quite 100%, and the Patriots aren’t going to put him out there in a game they frankly shouldn’t have much trouble winning at home. This will be Burkhead’s second consecutive missed game, but he’s at least been practicing on a limited basis and should have a pretty good shot to play in Week 7 against the Jets.

Rashard Higgins (knee) is inactive for the Browns.
This is Higgins’ fourth consecutive missed game after getting hurt in the season opener for Cleveland. And with Antonio Callaway back from suspension and active for the Browns, Higgins does not need to be held in redraft leagues.

Emmanuel Sanders (knee) was officially a full participant in today’s walkthrough.
This indicates the Broncos fully expect Sanders to play against the Chiefs on Thursday night after leaving Week 6 early with a knee injury. The veteran receiver should be good to go, but we’ll see how he’s listed when the final Week 7 injury report is released tomorrow.

Terry McLaurin (hamstring) is officially active against the Patriots.
McLaurin is back after missing just one game with his hamstring injury suffered in practice last week. The rookie receiver looks like a risky FLEX option for Week 5, as he could see a lot of shutdown cornerback Stephon Gilmore today.

The Patriots have released Benjamin Watson, according to multiple reports.
Watson was not activated by 4:00 PM ET today, which was the deadline for him to be added to the 53-man roster after his four-game suspension to start the season. This isn’t a huge surprise after Watson was not activated for yesterday’s game against the Redskins, but it basically confirms New England is not likely to utilize their tight ends consistently as receivers this season. The veteran tight end reportedly wants to continue playing despite retiring in the offseason and unretiring to join the Patriots (the team that drafted him in 2004), but he can be left on fantasy waiver wires for now.
10/7/19 - 04:11 PM ET
Tyrell Williams (foot) is officially inactive against the Bears.
Things were trending in this direction with Williams’ missed practice time along with the Raiders promoting Marcell Atman from the practice squad yesterday. This is a tough blow to the Raiders in their London game, as they already have a difficult task facing Chicago’s defense and now must do it without their No. 1 wide receiver, who has scored in all four games this season. Oakland has a bye in Week 6, so we expect Williams will be ready for Week 7 at Green Bay.
10/6/19 - 11:33 AM ET
The Rams promoted John Kelly to the active roster.
With Todd Gurley (thigh bruise) likely out for tomorrow’s game against the 49ers, Kelly is set to work behind Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson in LA’s backfield for Week 6. Kelly is not a highly recommended fantasy pickup at the moment.
