Join now >The Vikings released Jordan Taylor.
The big former Broncos receiver was signed by Minnesota earlier this offseason. Getting released isn’t ideal, but being let go days ahead of final roster cuts could give him a leg up as he looks to sign with another team.

Antonio Brown (feet) returned to practice.
Raiders quarterback Derek Carr says Brown “did everything” in the team’s walkthrough, so it sounds like the All-Pro is at full strength or very close to it. It’d be nice to see Brown get some live reps in Oakland’s third preseason game, but you can safely lock AB in as a solid second-round pick in 2019 fantasy drafts.

Lance Kendricks has been suspended one game.
Kendricks violated the NFL’s substance abuse policy for a marijuana charge in 2017. The veteran tight end probably isn’t a lock for New England’s roster, so this doesn’t help his case as he looks to make the team.

The Jaguars released Tanner Lee.
The 2018 sixth-round pick out of Nebraska should find a new team pretty soon, and this leaves Jacksonville with 2018 seventh-round pick Alex McGough and rookie sixth-round pick Gardner Minshew behind starter Nick Foles.

The Chiefs signed Jalen Tolliver.
The 2018 undrafted free agent spent his rookie year with the Cardinals and part of this year with the Titans. Kansas City would probably be a good spot for him to develop on the practice squad, but it’ll likely be difficult for him to crack the opening 53-man roster this late in the summer.

Jonnu Smith (knee) is returning to practice.
Smith injured his knee last December and showed some flashes, but Delanie Walker is back this season, and the Titans added Adam Humphries and A.J. Brown at receiver. Consider the former third-round pick a dynasty investment right now.

The Chiefs placed John Lovett on injured reserve.
Lovett was off the fantasy radar, so this move doesn’t have fantasy implications. Depending on the injury Lovett is dealing with, there’s a chance he’s released off injured reserve and signs with another team at some point in 2019.
