Join now >The Chiefs are re-signing Anthony Sherman, according to multiple reports.
Sherman has spent the last six seasons in Kansas City, so it was hard to see him anywhere else. In an elite offense led by Patrick Mahomes, it’s possible Sherman scores a few touchdowns in 2019, but he’s not going to be a recommended fantasy option as a much better real-life contributor than fantasy asset.

The Giants officially re-signed Cody Latimer.
With Odell Beckham Jr. gone, this is a good spot for the former second-round pick of the Broncos. Latimer knows Pat Shurmur’s offense from last year, and the depth chart is pretty wide open aside from Sterling Shepard and new-acquisition Golden Tate. It’s possible Latimer becomes the clear No. 3 receiver for the Giants, which could lead to solid fantasy value in deeper leagues. As of now, former Browns first-round pick Corey Coleman is probably Latimer’s biggest competition for a starting job in three-receiver sets.

The Rams are matching Malcolm Brown’s offer sheet, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Brown had signed a two-year, $3.25 million offer sheet with the Lions, but the Rams are matching it to keep the former Texas running back in the mix. The Rams are clearly high on Brown, and he’s the heavy favorite to be Todd Gurley’s backup in 2019, making him one of the top handcuffs to own in fantasy. Also, with talk of LA wanting to scale back Gurley’s workload a bit, Brown could get more consistent work each week, which could lead to some FLEX-caliber production this season. Brown remaining with the Rams likely means C.J. Anderson is headed elsewhere despite exceptional play down the stretch for LA last season.

The Broncos re-signed Kevin Hogan.
A rookie quarterback could still be drafted, but look for Hogan to be Joe Flacco’s backup quarterback in 2019. Hogan is still just 26 and will look to continue to develop; he might eventually get a chance to compete somewhere for a starting job.

The Ravens are re-signing Robert Griffin III, according to Ian Rapoport.
While it took some time, this was fully expected to happen. Baltimore should be extremely comfortable with their backup quarterback situation, as RGIII can step in and play at a high level, and he’s also a great mentor for young franchise quarterback Lamar Jackson. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh even went as far as saying he thinks the former Redskins star’s best football is ahead of him earlier this offseason. Because of his rushing ability mixed with his prowess as a passer, Griffin would likely be in the QB1 mix if he’s forced into action in the event of a Jackson injury in 2019.

The Lions signed Logan Thomas.
The former Virginia Tech quarterback spent the last two seasons in Buffalo, catching 19 passes for 144 yards and one touchdown, and he’s still just 27 years old as he looks to develop into a difference-maker at tight end. Fellow free-agent acquisition Jesse James is clearly Detroit’s starter at the position, though, so Thomas isn’t really on the fantasy radar right now.

The Texans are re-signing Joe Webb, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Webb’s position is quarterback, but he’s similar to Taysom Hill of the Saints in that he contributes on special teams. Webb is obviously a much better real-life contributor for his team than he is a fantasy asset.
