Join now >The Cardinals have signed tight end Charles Clay.
Arizona is scooping up veteran free agents that have been released by other teams, as it looks like they’re trying to re-stock the roster and attempt to immediately compete in Kliff Kingsbury’s first season as head coach. Ricky Seals-Jones is set to become an exclusive rights free agent and will likely remain with the Cardinals, but Clay will provide more competition for the starting tight end spot at the very least. Kingsbury’s offense will likely run through stars David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald along with rising start Christian Kirk more so than the tight end position, though.

The Browns have released Darren Fells, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Cleveland was trying to trade the veteran tight end, but there were apparently no takers, and now he’ll hit free agency. Fells is a solid blocker that can chip in as a receiver, and he’s also a good locker room guy. He’ll draw plenty of interest on the open market.

Antonio Brown says Steelers owner Art Rooney II agreed it’s time to move on.
Brown just tweeted: “Had a great meeting with Mr.Rooney today we discussed a lot of things and we cleared the air on several issues! We both agreed that it is time to move on but I’ll always have appreciation and gratitude towards the Rooney family and @steelers organization!” So it sounds like Brown will be on his way out of Pittsburgh one way or another (either a trade or an outright release), which isn’t a surprise considering AB has clearly been adamant about not wanting to play for the Steelers again. The All-Pro receiver also recently said on Instagram Live that he wants a team with “guaranteed money” to call him, so it does in fact sound like he not only wants to be on a new team, but that he also wants a new contract despite just signing a huge four-year, $68 million deal in 2017. This desire for a new contract could certainly scare some teams off, but it could also make him less costly to acquire via a trade—which could be what Brown wants so that the Steelers don’t get a good return for him. Expect Brown to be traded sometime between the start of the new league year and the draft.

The Steelers are trading Antonio Brown to the Raiders, according to multiple reports.
Just moments ago, Brown took to social media and posted a photoshop of him in a Raiders uniform as well as a shout-out to quarterback Derek Carr, and reporters have confirmed it means a trade will go down when the new league year begins. According to NFL Network, AB will be acquired for a third- and fifth-round pick, and he will get a reworked contract that will make him the league’s highest-paid receiver. This is obviously a huge boost for Carr and the entire Oakland offense, and for Brown, the landing spot is probably the best he could have hoped for, as Jon Gruden will undoubtedly feature him—though it’s hard to see Brown’s value getting much higher than it was in Pittsburgh with future Hall of Famer Ben Roethlisberger force-feeding him the ball at times, and that chemistry between Big Ben and Brown won’t be replicated over night. Most importantly, the Raiders kept the key picks on late Day 1 and early Day 2 of next month’s draft.

The Jaguars declined their option on Austin Seferian-Jenkins.
This was reportedly going to happen, but the Jaguars had said they didn’t make a decision a few weeks ago. Apparently they now have made a decision, as Seferian-Jenkins’ time in Jacksonville ends after one season. ASJ is still just 26 years old, and he’ll likely draw solid interest when he officially becomes an unrestricted free agent at the start of the new league year next month.

Carlos Hyde has agreed to a one-year deal with the Chiefs, according to Adam Schefter.
It didn’t take long for Hyde to find a new home after being released by the Jaguars, and Kansas City now seems to have their 2019 backfield set with Damien Williams and the Ohio State product likely acting as 1A and 1B, respectively. That said, Williams is clearly the preferred fantasy option, and if anything, this is likely good news for his outlook, as the Chiefs probably won’t spend anything more than a Day 3 draft pick at the position. For now, Williams still looks like a safe pick in the second or third round this summer, and Hyde will be a solid mid-to-late-round option.

The Cowboys have declined Terrance Williams’ option, according to ESPN.
This was fully expected after Williams fell out of favor in Dallas, and he will now be an unrestricted free agent next month. The veteran will turn 30 on the first Sunday of the 2019 NFL Season, but he should get a chance to carve out a role as a deep threat somewhere. Williams averaged 14.6 yards per reception in six years with the Cowboys, but his production fell off when Dak Prescott took over for Tony Romo in 2016.
