Join now >Jamaal Williams handles nine touches in loss to the Patriots.
Williams rushed seven times for 34 yards, also adding two receptions for 20 yards. It was a solid night for Green Bay’s backup, and fantasy owners should at least take note of Aaron Jones’ costly fumble in the fourth quarter with the Packers driving to take the lead. The backfield isn’t expected to change significantly, but Williams was already more trusted in pass protection, so perhaps he will get some more work down the stretch. For now, he’s just a decent FLEX option heading into a matchup with the Dolphins.

Case Keenum, Broncos lose to the Texans, 19-17, on last-second missed field goal.
Keenum was 26/42 for 290 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. It was a crushing defeat, as Denver got in range for Brandon McManus to win the game, but Vance Joseph inexplicable took his foot off the gas with 30 seconds remaining and decided to settle for a 51-yard attempt, which missed wide right. Keenum won’t be a high-end streaming option when Denver returns from their Week 10 bye to face the Chargers, but he could be worth a look in a game they will likely need to score in.

Jarius Wright catches one pass in Week 9 win.
It went for eight yards on his lone target. The veteran isn’t a recommended fantasy option with D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel both stepping up for Carolina.

The Bengals promoted Auden Tate from the practice squad.
This might not be good news for A.J. Green’s status as he awaits word on the extent of his toe injury. Tate would not be a recommended fantasy option if Green misses time, but he’s someone to keep an eye on particularly in dynasty leagues.

Tom Brady throws one touchdown in Patriots’ win against the Packers.
It didn’t quite live up to the hype as a shootout with Brady and Aaron Rodgers slinging the ball around in an epic game, but it was a strong performance by Brady, which included 14 fourth quarter points in New England’s 31-17 victory. Brady was 22/35 for 294 yards and a touchdown, but he ended up losing -1 yards rushing (because of kneel downs), meaning a slight setback for his journey to 1,000 career rushing yards. The Patriots came out with a warp-speed offense for an opening drive touchdown, and tempo worked in their favor when they went to it throughout the night. Brady’s score was to Josh Gordon in the fourth quarter on a 55-yarder down the left side of the field where Gordon broke one tackle then was off for six. This is TB12’s fourth game of the season with one or fewer passing touchdowns, but he’ll take the wins at the expense of trying to put up individual statistics. Next week, Brady remains a strong QB1 option against the Titans.

Devin Funchess caught four passes for 44 yards in Sunday’s win over the Bucs.
Funchess was targeted five times and was just short of reaching for the goal line on one of his receptions. The 24-year-old has established himself as a reliable low-end WR2/FLEX option with a 72/890/6 pace at the season’s midway point, but the upside is slightly capped on a loaded offense that’s getting contributions from big-play mavens D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel. Perhaps a potential shootout against the Steelers on Thursday night will allow Funchess to have a big game.

Aaron Jones totals 86 yards, but loses costly fumble in Week 9 loss.
Jones rushed 14 times for 76 yards, also adding two receptions (on four targets) for 10 yards. However, he put the ball on the ground in Patriots territory to start the fourth quarter, and it allowed New England to score a touchdown to go up 24-17 and then eventually another to pull away in a 31-17 victory. It’ll be interesting to see if Jones is trusted less down the stretch because of the mistake, but he wasn’t benched on Sunday night at least. Consider the second-year back a low-end RB2/FLEX option with Week 10 against Miami.
