Laquon Treadwell | Colts WR

Laquon Treadwell leads the Vikings in Week 9 receiving.

Treadwell caught passes of 22 yards and 15 yards, and he had two receptions for 37 yards overall versus Detroit. The third-year receiver isn’t a recommended fantasy option right now, but it’s good to see him play well in a big NFC North game.

11/5/18 - 11:20 AM ET

Tyler Higbee | Rams TE

Tyler Higbee caught two passes for 40 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Saints.

The Rams got their tight ends involved in a comeback attempt (Higbee and Gerald Everett combined for a 5/88 line), but New Orleans was able to answer a 21-point comeback with a 72-yard touchdown pass to seal the game and give Los Angeles their first loss of the year. Higbee won’t be a recommended fantasy option against the Seahawks in Week 10.

Adam Thielen | Panthers WR

Adam Thielen scores in Vikings’ win.

Thielen caught four passes for 22 yards and a touchdown along with one carry for five yards against the Lions. The All-Pro receiver had to deal with Darius Slay and some double teams throughout the game, and his record-breaking streak of eight-straight 100-yard receiving games to start a season was snapped, but the touchdown helped make it another productive day for fantasy owners. After the bye, Thielen will hopefully have teammate Stefon Diggs (rib) back to help take some pressure off him when they face the Bears.

11/5/18 - 11:18 AM ET

Gerald Everett | Free Agent TE

Gerald Everett impresses in Week 9 loss.

Everett caught three passes (on five targets) for 48 yards, also adding a clutch two-point conversion to tie the game at 35-35 before New Orleans pulled away in a 45-35 victory. It was good to see the 2017 second-round pick involved even with Cooper Kupp back in the lineup, and perhaps the expanded role over the past couple weeks will allow Everett to be a bigger factor down the stretch for the Super Bowl-contending Rams. The 24-year-old caught three passes for 24 yards in the first meeting with the Seahawks, but he’s nothing more than a TE2 option next week against Seattle.

11/5/18 - 12:51 PM ET

Curtis Samuel | Bills WR

Curtis Samuel scores twice as Carolina improves to 6-2.

Samuel caught two passes for 25 yards and a touchdown, also adding a 33-yard rushing score on a double reverse. The Ohio State product only has 11 offensive touches this season, but he’s turned them into 148 yards and four touchdowns as a big-time weapon with the ball in his hands. We think Carolina should try to get the ball in Samuel’s hands more, but even if his role doesn’t change, the 2017 second-round pick is as good a weekly flier as anyone thanks to his game-breaking ability. He gets the Steelers on Thursday night.

11/5/18 - 11:18 AM ET

Taysom Hill | Saints TE

Taysom Hill gets two carries against the Rams.

Hill gained ten yards on his two attempts in the Saints’ Week 9 win. He was also targeted on a pass from Drew Brees and might have picked up some nice yardage, but he dropped it after appearing to look up before securing the catch. Hill is a real weapon for the Saints in real life, but he’s difficult to trust in fantasy lineups.

11/5/18 - 12:49 PM ET

Latavius Murray | Free Agent RB

Latavius Murray scores in Vikings’ win.

Murray carried ten times for 31 yards and a touchdown along with one reception for 16 yards versus the Lions. Dalvin Cook returned to the lineup after missing four games and was said to be on a snap count, but he out-touched Murray 14-11. Still, Murray received a goal-line carry and converted by reaching the ball across for six—it was actually initially ruled a fumble recovered by tight end Kyle Rudolph in the end zone, but it was then changed to a Murray score. Murray is one of the league’s best at the goal line, so he should keep his role there along with double-digit-touch potential even with Cook back. He might be a risky FLEX option for Week 11 against the Bears, though, as we’ll have to see how he’s used with Cook at 100% after the bye.
