Patrick DiMarco catches one pass in Week 8.

DeMarco’s reception against the Patriots went for no yards. Buffalo’s fullback is not a fantasy option right now.

Seth DeValve scores in Week 8.

DeValve caught a 24-yard touchdown late in the game, and overall he had two receptions for 28 yards and the touchdown. This was DeValve’s first touchdown of the season, and he’s off the fantasy radar right now.

Cam Phillips catches first career pass against the Patriots.

Phillips gained nine yards on his lone reception in the Bills’ Week 8 loss. Congrats to the undrafted rookie receiver on his first NFL reception, and hopefully it’s the first of many in a long career.

Mike Evans hands 6/179/1 on the Bengals in Week 8 loss.

Evans was targeted a team-high 13 times, and his score came from 72 yards away with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center in a comeback attempt, but Tampa Bay fell, 37-34, on a last-second field goal. The touchdown was Evans’ first since September, and he will look to start a streak now that Fitzpatrick would seemingly remain under center for next Sunday’s game against the Panthers. The big-bodied wideout should be considered a backend WR1.

Chris Hogan caught two passes for 49 yards in Monday night’s win over Buffalo.

Hogan was targeted just twice, but he continued to operate as the clear No. 3 receiver behind Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon, and his second reception was a 20-yard catch to set up a goal-line score by James White. There’s been talk of New England acquiring a receiver ahead of tomorrow’s trade deadline, but Hogan has been a solid complimentary piece that’s made big plays in big moments. He’s a decent flier next Sunday night against the Packers in what should be a shootout.

Antonio Callaway scores in Week 8.

Callaway was targeted six times against the Steelers, catching five passes for 36 yards and a touchdown. The score was on a lofted red-zone pass over a defender as Callaway used his body to get in position for the catch. Through eight games, the talented rookie receiver is on pace for 42 receptions, 472 yards, and four touchdowns. He’s not a highly-recommended fantasy option right now, but we’ll see if he can have a big second half of the season.

Jason Croom catches one pass in Week 8.

Croom gained 14 yards on his one reception against the Patriots, and it looked like he had a big touchdown catch in the end zone, but it was quickly overturned by replay review after it was clear the ball hit the turf. Croom isn’t a recommended fantasy option at the moment.
