Join now >The Packers have selected Utah State quarterback Jordan Love with the No. 26 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
This is a big surprise from Green Bay toward the end of Round 1, as they not only made this selection for a quarterback, but traded up to do it. Love is in a similar position now to the one Aaron Rodgers was in 15 years ago, as he’ll sit behind a legendary veteran quarterback on the back nine of his career. Love has plus physical tools to work with, but there is some concern with turnovers after he threw 17 interceptions in his final college season. Our full scouting report on Love can be read in the link below, but Love will be sitting behind Rodgers in 2020 and remains just a dynasty-league hold for now.

The 49ers have selected Arizona State wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk with the No. 25 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
San Francisco gets another explosive weapon with the ball in his hands, as Aiyuk is coming off an 1,192-yard season with the Sun Devils, doing a ton of damage after the catch. Aiyuk can also contribute as a punt returner, and he can stretch the field and get deep along with his strong yards-after-catch ability. Our full scouting report for Aiyuk can be read in the link below, but he figures to have a good chance to emerge as a top three target for the Niners along with George Kittle and Deebo Samuel this season.

The Vikings have selected LSU wide receiver Justin Jefferson with the No. 22 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Jefferson lands with a veteran quarterback in Kirk Cousins with Minnesota after the team uses the Bills’ first-round pick they acquired in the Stefon Diggs trade last month. He has played outside some in the past, but Jefferson operated almost exclusively out of the slot last season for LSU, totaling 111 receptions, 1,540 yards, and 18 touchdowns on the most prolific passing attack in college football history. There won’t be as much green space at the next level, but Jefferson has 4.43 speed and projects as a dangerous chain-mover with the ability to create operation on short/intermediate routes. There is a crowded group of rookie receivers in terms of fantasy value, but Jefferson will have a nice opportunity to make a case as one of the top options as he looks to fill the void left by Diggs.

The Eagles have selected TCU wide receiver Jalen Reagor with the No. 21 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Reagor was underrated by much of the media, but the NFL was unsurprisingly higher on him as he comes off the board on Day 1. The explosive deep threat can win at all three levels, and based on just how he moves/plays, the Eagles may believe they found their future No. 1 target to grow with quarterback Carson Wentz. Offensive struggles as a whole for TCU limited Reagor to just 611 receiving yards and five scores in 2019, but he had a 1,000-yard season in 2018 and 26 total scores in three years. From a fantasy perspective, Reagor should likely be drafted late as a high-upside lottery ticket in the mid-to-late rounds in 2020. Reagor’s scouting report can be viewed in the link below.

The Cowboys have selected Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb with the No. 17 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
A magician with the ball in his hands, Lamb is coming off a season in which he caught 62 passes for 1,327 yards (21.4 yards per receptions) and 14 touchdowns in 13 games for the playoff-bound Sooners. The six-foot-two receiver has drawn comparisons to Davante Adams and DeAndre Hopkins, so that should give you a pretty good idea about his potential in the league. The Cowboys already have some exceptional options at receiver, but Mike McCarthy’s offenses have historically allowed multiple receivers to put up strong fantasy numbers. From a real-life perspective, this move should be awesome for Dallas with Lamb joining Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup, but the Oklahoma product might have limited fantasy upside as a rookie given that he won’t likely be a No. 1 target. You can read our scouting report on Lamb in the link below.

The Broncos have selected Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy with the No. 15 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Reports about a knee issue (though it didn’t impact him at all in college) made Jeudy a candidate to slip a bit, but that didn’t really happen as the Broncos take him in the top 15. Overall, Jeudy is a smooth technician that can run any route in the book, and—perhaps as learned on the playground with childhood friend Lamar Jackson—he can make defenders look silly in the open field. If the 20-year-old can consistently get off the press as a rookie against NFL cornerbacks, he can quickly prove to be a No. 1 receiver for Denver or a 1B option alongside Courtland Sutton. Jeudy will be playing in a run-first offense, but he has the ability to become a FLEX option if all goes well in 2020. Jeudy’s scouting report can be read in the link below.

The Raiders have selected Alabama wide receiver Henry Ruggs III with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
We are as high on Ruggs III as anyone from a real-life perspective, but fantasy owners should temper expectations a bit—particularly early on while he develops as a route runner. Still, the Alabama speedster will immediately rival Tyreek Hill and others as the fastest player in the league, and anyone who evaluated him as a prospect knows he is very tough and has natural receiving skills (in other words, he isn’t just a one-trick pony). Just to put the speed and big-play potential into perspective, Ruggs III saw exactly 100 offensive touches at Alabama… and scored on 25 of them. You can read Ruggs’ full scouting report in the link below. This is obviously a typical type of selection for the Raiders, and Ruggs will be a ton of fun in Vegas (in the same division as the aforementioned Hill). The Raiders have a very impressive receiving corps with Ruggs, Tyrell Williams, Nelson Agholor, Hunter Renfrow, and tight end Darren Waller.
