Join now >Christian Kirk catches eight passes in return to the lineup.
After missing three games with an ankle injury, Kirk was back for Arizona’s Week 8 matchup at New Orleans, and he immediately made an impact, catching eight passes for 79 yards along with one carry for 19 yards. The second-year receiver is an explosive player, and he’s been getting consistent looks from Kyler Murray in the five games he’s played this season. If Kirk had been dropped in your league during his absence, he’s definitely worth targeting on waiver wires. Kirk has a tough matchup against the Niners on Halloween this Thursday night.

Vernon Davis (concussion) has officially been ruled out for Week 8.
At least Davis is practicing for the Redskins, but he still remains in concussion protocol. Adrian Peterson and Terry McLaurin are probably the only Washington players that should be trusted in fantasy lineups tomorrow night against the Vikings.

The Falcons promoted Danny Etling to the active roster.
With Matt Ryan (ankle) uncertain for tomorrow, Etling will either serve as depth as the third quarterback in an emergency situation or as the backup behind Matt Schaub if Ryan is inactive. We still think Ryan, who has not missed a game since December 2009, will be able to tough it out and play tomorrow; but it might just not be possible for him to play well with a serious ankle sprain, in which case Atlanta might just decide he should sit. The Falcons play at 1:00 PM ET tomorrow, so we’ll know Matty Ice’s status by 11:30 AM ET.
10/26/19 - 01:46 PM ET
Josh Jacobs (shoulder) is officially questionable for Week 8.
Jacobs was able to practice on a limited basis today after missing Wednesday and Thursday, and Raiders head coach Jon Gruden says he hopes his stud rookie running back is ready to go on Sunday. Jacobs looks like a legitimate game-time call, and we would think he will indeed suit up; but the Raiders play at 4:25 PM ET, so you should have a backup plan from the later games for your fantasy lineup.
10/25/19 - 03:25 PM ET
Chris Thompson (toe) has officially been ruled out for Week 8.
Thompson remains week-to-week with his toe issue, and this was expected. Hopefully the mini bye after that game gives him a chance to get back on the field for the Redskins’ next game a week from Sunday.
10/23/19 - 02:22 PM ET
Delanie Walker (ankle) has officially been ruled out for Week 8.
Walker did not practice all week, so this isn’t a surprise. The veteran tight end says he’s dealing with soreness in the ankle that suffered the season-ending injury at the beginning of last season. He should be considered week-to-week for now and is not a must-hold on redraft fantasy rosters.
10/25/19 - 03:03 PM ET
Adrian Peterson (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Thursday night.
Peterson is fully expected to play tomorrow night against his former team, and he was listed as a limited participants in today’s practice after missing Monday and Tuesday with his ankle sprain. Just check back tomorrow evening to ensure that Peterson is active for Week 8.
