Join now >DeSean Jackson (abdomen) has officially been ruled out for Week 8.
As expected, Jackson will miss his sixth consecutive game. Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said he hopes Jackson can get on the grass and run next week, but it doesn’t sound like the speedy receiver is particularly close to a return to the field.

Adam Thielen (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 8.
Thielen wasn’t expected to play on a short week, especially since next Sunday will be a huge game against the Chiefs. On Thursday night, Minnesota will likely be able to keep the ball on the ground with Dalvin Cook, but Stefon Diggs gets a huge boost as a WR1/WR2 option for a matchup with the Redskins.

Justin Jackson (calf) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday.
Jackson has a realistic chance to return after missing the last few games with his calf issue, but he won’t be a recommended fantasy option behind Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekeler if active.

The Bengals waived Damion Willis.
Willis went from undrafted to a starting receiver as a rookie this season, but his playing time had decreased with Auden Tate emerging on the outside. Expect Willis to land on Cincinnati’s practice squad if he clears waivers.

Keenan Allen (hamstring) is officially questionable for Week 8.
Allen is a gametime decision to face the Bears this Sunday after his hamstring injury popped up, but the good news is it’s an early kickoff for Los Angeles. Allen’s status will be known by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday.
10/25/19 - 02:20 PM ET
David Johnson (ankle) will not practice today.
Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury says that Johnson ideally will not play this week (especially if he’s at less than 100%) with a short week coming up for next Thursday’s Halloween matchup with the 49ers. Johnson is on the doubtful side of things as we start the week, but we’ll see if he’s able to work his way onto the field by Sunday.
10/23/19 - 01:22 PM ET
Patrick Mahomes (knee) won’t play in Week 8.
Mahomes practicing this week made it seem like he had an outside chance to suit up, but the Chiefs are likely doing the right thing by holding him out just ten days after the injury. In his place, Matt Moore will draw the start as Kansas City looks to pull away in the AFC West, and he is worth considering in two-quarterbacks leagues because of the weapons in Andy Reid’s offense. It sounds like Mahomes will have a real shot at returning next week against Minnesota.
